Posted by Cigdem Baker on

Wink at No 14, is hosting a series of workshops with the aim of bringing people together to immerse themselves in creating by hand, observing, exchanging ideas and drawing inspiration from the creative environment of home. Workshops at No 14, are open to all who would like to create, learn and practice something new or develop existing skills.

The first of these workshops will be looking at cloth with with textile artist Clare Spender. Clare is fascinated by thread, how something so simple can change the surface of any material, can bind it, distort it and create a structure with it. As well as her own practice in her studio in Wilton, Clare works in Exhibitions and Archives at Highcliffe Castle, Dorset.

Clare will be hosting these workshops on the second Friday of each month, starting from March 11, 10 - 5pm. With light lunch and refreshments being served.

Places are limited to 5. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
